A pulley! What is a pulley? A pulley is one of six simple machines! A pulley is just a cord\ rope that sits on a wheel and axle. Pulleys are commonly used to lift heavy loads that we can't lift on our own. For example a Crane is a pulley. Drains lift heavy loads that are too heavy for us. In conclusion you see pulleys everywhere and are super simple and handy!

If you are lifting a bucket from a well, you might want to use something like a pulley. A pulley is the last and most complex simple machine. It works well to lift heavy objects. It is a wheel and axle with a groove. It also has a rope cord or chain running through the groove. The pulley changes input force. There are 3 types of pulleys: fixed pulley, movable pulley, and combined pulley. A pull down on you end of the rope or chain and the other price of rope or chain will go up. In conclusion, the pulley is the most complex simple machine and can be used to lift heavy objects.

I meant to do an example. A crane is an example

The pulley is one of the six simple machines. It helps you to move a load up and down with ease. It is made up of a wheel and axle with a groove going around it. Inside the groove there is a string, cable or wire. The more pulleys you have the less force you need. The disadvantage of this is that you need more of your string, wire or cable. This means that you must pull for a longer time. So, in conclusion, the pulley is one of the six simple machines and helps you lift a load up and down.

Squeeek squeeek! That’s a pulley that needs oil. Anyway, pulleys are one of six simple machines. Pulleys make your work easier. Pulleys are a rope with a wheel and axle. For example, there’s a pulley to help you raise water from a well. A crane is also a pulley, it helps construction workers with lifting heavy objects to high heights for a building of some sort.

This is what I know about pulleys. A pulley is a rope or chain this is wrapped around a grooved wheel. When the rope or the chain is pulled, the wheel turns. Pulleys make it easier to lift objects. There are three different types of pulleys: fixed pulleys, moveable pulleys, and combined pulleys. A fixed pulley gives you a mechanic addvantage because you change the direction of your effort force. When you pull down on the rope, the load goes up. This is very useful when you are trying to lift a very heavy object . If you are trying to lift a sofa, pulling down on the rope is easier then lifting the sofa with your hands. However, with only one pulley, you still use the same amount of effort force you would have used without the pulley.

A pulley is the last simple machine,a pulley is a rope or chain wrapped around a wheel, when the rope is pulled, the wheel turns, making things easier to lift.

A fixed pulley has a wheel attached to the top of something that does not move. Since the pulley does not move, it is called a fixed pulley.

A moveable pulley is when you attach a pulley to a load you are trying to lift, you then create a moveable pulley.

A combined pulley is when fixed a moveable pulleys are combined, this is also called a block and tackle (football?). When you combine pulleys you combine thier machanical advantage.
