Personal Learning Experience

Throughout the term, we have been asked to be reflective with regards to our own journey with learning French.

Reflective Journals

Reflective Journal 1

Reflection #1 due May 26th (Week 3)

How prepared are you to meet the challenge of teaching FSL? What are your challenges and how do you foresee meeting them? What has been your language learning journey, and what is your action plan for improving your language proficiency? Describe in detail which methods you recall to have been the most effective and the least effective in your own language learning.

Reflective Journal 2

Reflection #2 due June 23(Week 7)

Reread your first reflection: how do you perceive your language learning journey since the beginning of the course? How would you describe any progress made? Have you adjusted your action plan? What have you noticed about learning strategies that you have observed or experienced in the course? Which did you prefer and why? What links do you see between strategies that were effective for your learning and what you would like to accomplish as a language teacher?
